JAMMU: Several Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) on Monday called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and discussed issues related to development works and public welfare in their respective constituencies.
Among those who met the Chief Minister were Surjeet Singh Slathia, Sajad Shaheen, Arjun Singh Raju, Daleep Singh Parihar, Khursheed Ahmed and Abdul Majeed Bhat Laram.
During the meetings, the legislators apprised the Chief Minister of various issues concerning development projects and public welfare measures in their constituencies.
The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by the MLAs and assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
He reiterated that the government remains committed to resolving people’s grievances and ensuring balanced development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
