Pakistan Used Civilian Flights as Shields, Didn’t Close Airspace: Govt

New Delhi: In a shocking breach of international norms, Pakistan kept its airspace open for civilian flights while launching a large-scale drone attack targeting Indian cities, religious sites, and military posts, the Indian government revealed today.

Using civilian aircraft as cover, over 300-400 Pakistani drones—some Turkish-made armed models—were sent toward North India. India’s air defence responded swiftly, intercepting and neutralizing most threats.

Tragically, heavy shelling in J&K’s Poonch claimed the lives of two convent school students. “Targeting temples, gurdwaras, and convents marks a disturbing new low,” said Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
