Pakistan Surrenders After India’s Operation Sindoor

India launched Operation Sindoor, destroying 9 terror camps in Pakistan and PoK. Pakistan backed down, urging peace if India halts further action. China urged restraint on both sides.

New Delhi: After a powerful and precise action by the Indian Army, Pakistan has signaled surrender. Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in an interview with Bloomberg, admitted that if India ceases its military operations, Pakistan will also refrain from taking any further action. He claimed that Pakistan is not engaging in any hostile activity towards India and is merely defending its own territory.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Asif reiterated that Pakistan has made it clear over the past two weeks that it does not intend to initiate any attacks against India. However, he warned that if India does strike, there will be a response.

China Sides with Pakistan

Reacting to the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, China expressed concern. The spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry called India’s military operation “regrettable” and said China is closely monitoring the situation. While opposing all forms of terrorism, China urged both India and Pakistan—its neighbors—to exercise restraint and resolve the matter peacefully, avoiding any actions that could worsen the situation.
