Hamburg, Germany – A mass stabbing incident at Hamburg’s central station has left 12 people injured, including four in critical condition, authorities confirmed on Saturday. The shocking attack occurred during peak hours, sending panic through one of Germany’s busiest transportation hubs.

Emergency services and police rushed to the scene shortly after the attack began. Witnesses described chaos and confusion as commuters fled in all directions to escape the assailant. Some victims were reportedly attacked inside the station concourse, while others were assaulted on the platforms.

Paramedics provided immediate medical attention to the wounded, and the critically injured were transported to nearby hospitals. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.

A male suspect was apprehended by police shortly after the incident. He is currently in custody and being questioned. No motive has been confirmed so far, and officials have not ruled out any possibilities, including terrorism or mental health-related issues.
