Jammu Under Attack: Swarm Drone Attack on Jammu Thwarted by S-400 Defence System

India intercepted Pakistani missiles and drones targeting Jammu using its S-400 air defence system after a swarm drone attack, triggering sirens and blackouts in multiple regions.

Jammu: In a major escalation following India’s covert Operation Sindoor, Pakistan reportedly launched a swarm drone attack targeting Jammu’s border areas late Thursday night. The strike is believed to be a retaliatory move after India’s recent precision airstrikes on terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Responding swiftly to the threat, Indian Armed Forces activated the cutting-edge S-400 Triumf air defence system to intercept and neutralize multiple incoming missiles and drones. Radar systems detected numerous hostile aerial objects entering Indian airspace, prompting immediate countermeasures.

Loud explosions echoed across Jammu, followed by emergency sirens that sent residents scrambling for safety. Similar sirens were also reported in Kupwara, over 300 kilometers away. Both regions experienced sudden power outages, adding to the tension.

Eyewitness videos circulating online show flashes lighting up the night sky—believed to be the result of successful drone interceptions by Indian defence systems.
