Jammu May 15: Shiv Sena (UT) Jammu-Kashmir unit has accused BJP of double standards, insulting a woman soldier and crossing all limits to spoil communal harmony and has demanded strict action at party and legal level.
In a press conference held today at the party’s state central office, state chief Manish Sahni said that on one hand, the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is openly praising the army by visiting Kashmir, while on the other hand, BJP leaders like Vijay Shah are openly insulting the army personnel and spreading hatred by making statements that tear apart the fabric of Hindu Muslim brotherhood.
Sahni said that insulting the army is tantamount to treason.
Sahni has demanded strict legal action along with dismissal of Shah from the party and the cabinet.
Sahni strongly criticized the BJP high command’s silence on Vijay Shah’s comment and said that legal action against Shah has been taken on the orders of the honourable court. Sahni said that there is a race among BJP leaders to spoil the Hindu Muslim brotherhood and communal harmony and spread hatred, all limits are being crossed which is a danger signal for the country and mutual brotherhood.
