Jammu, April 30 (Jammu Observer): In a move that has surprised and impressed many, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 on the same day — a rare occurrence that hasn’t happened in years.
What’s even more remarkable is the speed at which the results were announced this year, setting a new record for efficiency and coordination by the board.
The achievement drew praise from various quarters, including Minister of School/Hr Education, Health & Medical Education and Social Welfare, Government of J&K, Sakina Itoo, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to commend the board’s efforts.
For the first time in many years, results for both Class 10th and 12th have been declared on the same day — that too in record time! Kudos to all the officials of JKBOSE and staff for their efficient efforts. Congratulations to all the successful students,” she wrote.
For students and parents who had been eagerly awaiting the results, the announcement came as a huge relief. Many said the early declaration has helped ease stress and allowed them to plan their next steps without uncertainty.
“This time we didn’t have to wait for weeks between the Class 12 and Class 10 results. It’s a big relief,” said Mehak, a parent from Jammu. “It shows that the system is improving.”
